The captain of Sanganeb, Salvatore, was born in Naples in 1954, studied architecture and in the early 1980s he moved to Caracas, Venezuela, to work at a noted architectural firm. He returned to Naples in the 1990s and started to pursue his love of the sea. For the last 15 years he has alternated work as a skipper for various charter companies as a professional guide for sport fishing.
The Sanganeb is a standard classic private catamaran. This permits the hull on the starboard side to be more spacious, comfortable and private than on other catamarans. It has a double bed, a writing desk, a divan that can be converted into an additional sleeping space, ample 4-door closets and a bathroom as large as a prow cabin; it is comfortable with good light and has a separate stall shower.
