Last monday we went wreck fishing with Pete Mickeal from Regal Barça, who brought his friends Gianluca Basile and Toni, one of the trainers.
On our way to the wreck we found literally 100's of bluefin tunas chasing small bait fish.
We knew it wouldn't be easy to catch them because they only have eye for this small life bait. We did some spinning for a while, but without success. Check out this video and you'll see we were surrounded by bluefins.
After 45 nerve-racking minutes we decided to move on to the wreck. There was a strange current and we had to struggle a bit to anchor right above the wreck.
10 minutes after anchoring, Gianluca caught the first fish of his life! a very nice conger eal...
Here's the video:
In total we had several small fish, 3 conger eal, 2 forkbread and a big black spot sea bream. Excellent for a half day fishing in Cambrils.
