An Amberjack for Present?
Tono does it again...
History, boats, tackle, and much more!
The Latest on Our Recent Fishing Trip
Cold and windy in the north, flooding in the south... Fortunately there are enough calm days to go bottom fishing. We have several good fishing charters that specialize in bottom fishing: Raiatea (Barcelona), Garrote (Tarragona), Papichulo (Alicante), Foramando (Majorca), Luna (Malaga)…
For those who prefer sun and heat, we always have the Canaries. True, they've had their storms - but now they have a splendid weather and fishing is great at the moment. Capt. Paul, from Tono in Lanzarote, told us they have 24°C and last week the clients caught a 33kg Amberjack and several barracudas. The also had several bites from bonitos, but they lost them. "There's still plenty of bait fish (sardines and mackerel), lots of bonitos and several small tuna species. The Amberjack will stay in the area as long as there is bait fish. Let's hope I can beat the current records set at 73kg one day!"
Soon we'll present you new boats in the Canaries, Galicia, Murcia, Tarragona and Valencia.
We wish you Merry Christmas and a Happy New year.
